TOP MATTERS / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions, answered clearly.

What to expect from case assessment, investigation and possible recovery routes.

Can you guarantee recovery?

No. Recovery depends on the specific facts, the location and control of assets, cooperation from relevant parties and any applicable legal processes. Tracing alone does not guarantee a financial outcome.

Are you a government agency or law enforcement body?

No. Top Matters is an independent private service. We do not act as a regulator or law enforcement body and cannot issue seizure or freezing orders.

Is submitting a case a commitment to pay?

No. The initial form is an enquiry. Any proposed work, deliverables and fees should be explained and agreed separately before an engagement begins.

What information should I provide?

A short timeline, platform or website details, approximate amounts and dates, plus public wallet addresses or transaction hashes if available. Never provide seed phrases, private keys, passwords or remote-access codes.

Can I upload evidence or identity documents?

The initial form does not accept files. If more information is required, discuss an appropriate evidence transfer method with the team. Do not send sensitive identity documents in your first enquiry.

Will my case be published in an article?

Case submissions are private administrator records and are not automatically published. Articles are created separately through the editorial publishing process.

Should I report the matter to the authorities?

Suspected crime should be reported to the appropriate authorities in your jurisdiction. A private assessment is not a substitute for an official report or advice from a qualified legal professional.

Can you reverse a transaction or access a wallet?

We cannot reverse confirmed blockchain transactions, unlock a wallet without the necessary lawful access, or independently seize funds. Be cautious of anyone promising these results.

How do I follow up?

Email support@topmatters.com with the reference shown after submission. Do not include wallet credentials or passwords.
